Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information JorgeOlson.com (the “Site”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Jorge Olson (“I”, “me”).
1. Information collected
Newsletter. When you subscribe, the form sends your email address, the page you subscribed from, and any campaign tags in the link you arrived by, to my email service provider, GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), where my subscriber list is kept. If you reply to an email, your reply and its contents are kept with your subscriber record.
Hosting logs. The Site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and operation. I do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Analytics. The Site may use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read. Where it is in use, Google sets cookies on your device under its own privacy policy.
Video. Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you click play. Once you do, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
No other cookies, pixels or trackers are used.
2. How information is used
- To send the weekly letter you subscribed to, and to stop sending it when you unsubscribe.
- To answer replies and requests sent through the letter, including media and speaking inquiries.
- To keep the Site running and secure.
I do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone for their own marketing.
3. Who else sees it
GoHighLevel (email delivery and subscriber records), Vercel (hosting), Google (analytics, where enabled, and YouTube). Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
4. Retention
Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them, plus any period the law requires. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel on its standard schedule.
5. Your choices
Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every email. To access, correct or delete the information I hold about you, email jorge@jorgeolson.com. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you have the rights those laws give you, and the same address is where to exercise them.
6. Children
The Site is written for adults in business and investing. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
7. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
